From Wagner’s opera ‘Lohengrin’, this has become the classic choice for the entrance of the Bride at a wedding, and is also known as “Here Comes The Bride”. It first became a popular part of the wedding ceremony after it was used at the marriage of Queen Victoria’s daughter, The Princess Royal, in 1858.
